My mini motto is not firing ?

i have taken the spark plug out and held the plug there is no spark at all what can i do to solve this iv changed the plug and still the same problem it is a 49cc mini quad pull start could it be i need a new coil for it the 1 on it is looking like new not a mark on it or could it be the timing on it if so how do i sort this out please

first off, did you ground the plug ? else it wont fire anyway ?

look for easy stuff, is kill switch on, is a safety of some sort on, else bring it in for repair as your guessing whats wrong will cost you more in parts.

hold the coil to the block with out the plug and see if you see a spark( maybe put a s***w driver in it a little so it has something to jump from )  does it have a cdi box? (a brain box, computer)  maybe wear a glove.  is it a 2 stroke or a four stroke most of those little bikes are 2 and there is no timing, only with a 4 stroke
