My mouth hurts really bad! Help!?

I have a palate expander and we just tightened it last night. It really didn't bother me until I woke up this morning. I wake up at 4:30 AM and then go to my grandma's house and sleep until when ever. So I woke up for the last time today, and my 2 front teeth feel like they are being moved. This have never happened before, and, when I bight down, it feels as if it's getting tighter and it hurts more. Also I have been bighting on the 2 front parts of it, is this normal? Please help me! I don't know if this is normal or not!

It's supposed to do that. Your two front teeth seperate and then after you get your top braces they will close back in. Take some ibuprofen or tylenol and you should be fine.

it is very normal. that is what expanders to - expand! they need to make room and move which your orthodontist/dentist should have explained to you. i would just take some pain killers before you go to bed and try to sleep through it. it will get better no worries!
