  1. The same exact thing happened to me. I changed my password and made it a difficult one, a hard one to guess. Once I did this, I wasn't hacked again. Myspace is doing a better job by preventing phishing with the CAPTCHA codes that can be annoying to continually type in whenever you update your profile. Changing your password is a good start, and you should have your friends alert you the next time they see uncharacteristic bulletins posted under your account, that may be an obvious sign of a hacker. Good Luck!

  2. Something similar to this happened to me awhile back. Someone hacked my account and started sending bullitens. I changed my password and it never happened again, so that should work. If it continues to happen you should probably contact myspace.

  3. Changing your password should do it, I have been phished before, and changing my password resolved my problem. Next time look at your address bar before you submit any myspace information.

  4. yeah that should def work. i actually haven't seen any hacking, phishing, spamming (or what have you) on myspace since this past winter. i thought they really tightened security or something. during the winter not only my account, but a lot of my friends' accounts were hacked and the hackers always added annoying comments to our pages with links to check something "cool" out. but like i mentioned i really thought they cracked down on it. i'd hate to start getting the spam comments again. but oh well.
