  1. why would you be freaking out? unless he is a sexual predator, then i would understand that. but other than that, i don't see how it wouldn't be good. helps to have some after school help. unless you're one of those kids that think they'll lose their coolness if you have a neighbor as a teacher. kids these days: so full of themselves.

  2. i think the best advice is that it will bring you and your teacher more together, meaning that he will like you more and when your in his class it wont be so uncomfortable being around him

  3. Unless your neighbor is really unprofessional, or you have been a bad neighbor, I wouldn't worry about it.  I recently talked to someone who went to a small school and had to have her mother as her teacher one year.  She said it was fine.

  4. Why are you freaking out?  It's not like he's going to spend the class hour telling people that you sunbathe in the backyard or something.  Unless the guy's a total freak, you've really got nothing to worry about.

My art and piano teachers were both my neighbors, my Science and English teachers lived right down the road, and my parents are teachers...I couldn't sneeze in class without my parents hearing about it in the lounge.  And quite frankly, every one of my classes with these people was fine.

Teachers are people too - they have cookouts in their backyard, walk their dogs, and watch TV.  They have to live somewhere, so many people end up having their neighbors for teachers.  It's really pretty common.  Most likely he's professional and it'll be like having any other teacher.  Stop freaking out, it'll be fine.

  5. I don't see the problem - I've had a lot of my neighbor's kids in class, and I've had a lot of my high school friends' kids in class, so why would you think it's a problem?

  6. Teachers are people too. Relax. Your teacher shouldn't treat you any differently because you live near him-- and he won't knock on your door in the evening to make sure you are doing your homework. It'll be just fine. It would be stranger and more awkward if you did change classes.

  7. wtf Thas Weird Maybe if u have an nice counseler ucan!!
