My new Sony Cybershot DSC-T70...?

Okay every picture I have taken, I am blinking! It is because the camera has 2 quick flashes. It is actually really annoying. I thought it may have been the red eye flash so I tried to turn that off but that did not change it. Is it possible to make it just have one flash? I would like my camera to actually take a GOOD picture of me with my eyes open! and I never blink in pictures! Every person I've taken a picture of is blinking as well.

Each time you take a flash picture, your camera will fire the flash 2 times.  This is not related to the red eye reduction.  The first fire is called the pre-flash.  The flash fires the second time when the picture is taken.  The pre-flash is used to determine strength of the flash needed when the picture is taken.  It is not possible to turn the pre-flash off.
