Question:

My nutrition..im 13...?

im 5.2 and 112-114 pounds.. i wanna loose like 10...

this is how i ate today..

breakfast

activia yogurt

black coffee and no sugar

lunch

toast:

2 slices toast

2 slices toast cheese

some chicken

snack

dried pine apple -280 kcals

dinner

3 small pices of grilled chicken and lots of tomatos/cucumbers

snack

pack of chocolate (550 kcals)

i know i wont loose weight but i wanna know what u think?? do u think all kids eat like that??

i also play tennis at least an hour everyday

You're not eating that bad, but the chocolate has to go, eat stuff like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains instead of processed stuff to get your carbs, and eat lean meat for protein. 8 cups of water instead of soda and fruit juice. Coffee and tea are okay, just don't drink too much. Make sure you eat 6 meals spaced 2-3 hours apart. If you want to lose weight, find your bmr, then eat 500-1000 calories less than that daily.

    your'e thirteen, you'll have plenty of time to worry about weight in your late teens early twenties.  Don't fret over what you eat you're eating fine now and do not need to lose weight. 5'2 112lbs is quite tiny.

  3. Wow - we have amazingly similar stats.

    I'm 5"2 and weigh 111lbs. I want to get to 100lbs as soon as possible.

    Here is how I ate today. I would just like to point out that Im not saying you should eat like this!

    Breakfast:

    Special K with 2 tbsps milk - 150 calories

    Lunch:

    Nutrigrain Bar - 131 calories

    Snack:

    Apple - 80 calories

    Dinner:

    I think my Mum is making pasta =[

    Maybe around 400-500 calories worth?

    =800-900 calories

    (Sport 3-4 times a week.)

    I think you eat pretty normally for a teenager, but if you are looking to lose weight then I'm not so sure...

    Try an intake of around 1200-1500 calories, with plenty of lean meat, fish, fruit, vegetables and yoghurt. Try and eat regularly rather than waiting hours between meals, so that you keep your metabolism going.

       And its really good that you do so much sport every day, so I'm sure if you lower your calorie intake a bit then the weight will come right off!
