My oven wont come on

Question

my daughter has moved in to a rented place with an old ariston oven - no instruction manual. At the weekend we had the oven working but we fiddled with some dials on the right hand side which seems to be some sort of timer now she cant get the oven to come on. help!!!!!!!!!!
