My papa's hands, help?

his hands are peeling and i wanted to know if there are any lotions that help...vasiline dosent work.

he needs a heavy duty one,

The fact that he has open sores on his hands means that he needs to go see a doctor. He will likely tell him to pick up a medicated lotion. Using store bought lotions can lead to infections and complications in cases lik this. Go to a clinic.

-he may pick up an infection or worse,

-I can't believe he wasn't prescribed something!

Try Eucerin Advanced Healing lotion...this stuff works for everything, including my son's eczema that doesn't go away with the Dr's prescribed treatment.

sounds like he may need a prescription for something.  He may need to see the dermotologist.

Ouch! Does he maybe use his hands at his job a lot? if his job requires harsh chemicals he really needs to wear gloves...BUT I've had hands that cracked and what I did was buy some gloves, filled it with cocoa butter and wore them overnight...do this for a week and the cracking should stop.

Sounds like some sort of skin disease..I have the same problem as well, but mine is caused from work (concerete & lime). The best thing I use is A&D Oinment, and Palmers cocoa butter

I really do think he should see a doctor but in the mean time try Eucerin Cream, Coco Butter or Shea Butter.
