My paypal account

Question

i forgot my paypal password so i was sent an email to reset the password. but when i try to enter my full card number its not accepting it. it has space for 18 digits which 2 is already there but my card number is 19 digits long and i dont know what to do with it. i cant reset my password if it wont accept my account number the end 2 digits which paypal has provided of my account number are correct so i know it is my account number. can you help me please as i cant buy anything online without this
