My phone got wet? ?

do i put it in a room with air conditioning or without

(1) IMMEDIATELY REMOVE THE BATTERY. VERY VERY IMPORTANT!

(2) As soon as possible (preferably within 20-30 minutes). dissassemble the phone using Torx T6 screwdriver. (Get this off eBay or service depots, etc) Make an emergency trip to Sears/RadioShack/ACE/service depot/etc.

(3) Clean/dry as much as you can, using Q-Tips

(4) Dry the electronics components under a desk lamp on a paper towel for 24 hours.

(5) Use a blow dryer, set on warm. Blow dry the phone. Make sure your battery and sim card are out of the phone.

(6) Leave your phone in rice for 24 hours with sim/battery out of phone.

(7) Reassemble the phone

(8) Put back together

(9) Only now it's safe to put the battery back in.

You can also leave the battery and sim out. Leave your phone out in the sun. Let it dry.

DON'T shake it and try to dry as much of it off as you can then store it somewhere it won't get wet and don't touch it also leave battery out.

you take your battery out and leave it on top of the air conditioning. and see if it works in the morning or try putting it in a bag of rice. with the battery out put both part in hte bag.

Let it air dry, take the battery ouyt and leave the back off. Should be good by morning, don't try and see if it works till the morning because you can short the circuits in your phone.  A dry room would probably be best because it would absorb the water faster than a room with a higher humidity level.

Let it air dry w/ the battery removed. Definitely don't use a blow dryer as this can cause your phone to over heat and cause even more damage. Some phones have a color coded dot on the inside of the battery cover that turns a different color when the phone has been damaged beyond repair, you may want to check that out as well.

take the phone apart and get a blowdryer.Use the cool setting to blow the water out.I have done this before.Onmy new phone I got water damage protection.its like 4 bucks a month.but well worth it.
