well yesterday i shaved downstairs and today i have a rash its like red spots. please help is this unusual im only 14.

It&#039;s called chafing from shaving.  Put some bath powder on it.

Its just razor burn. Apply an aloe or an after shave to help the rash, it should help you get better. Let it heal before you shave again.  Check out the website for more tips on how to get rid of it. Good luck with that and do your best not to itch/rub

This is razor burn.  It itches like crazy, but is normal and will go away in a few days.  Keep the skin dry, use some baby powder, and don&#039;t scratch.

Ok. Take a deep breath and calm down! I&#039;m 13 and I know what ur going through. For now u might want to see a doctor if it stats to hurt or is irritably itchy. Tips 4 the next time ( if there is a next time ): 1: Use shaving cream. 2: Find a razor with extra moisturizing strips.( I like Gillette Venus the best ). 3: Don&#039;t apply 2 much pressure, because that cause more scratching.

I have had good results with Mennen aftershave lotion for sensitive skin.  Dab on, don&#039;t rub.  Do it right after you get out of the shower to give it time to dry while you finish your bathroom routine.  Use it in the morning and at night for 2-3 days.  Try your best not to scratch because it&#039;ll only make it worse.  Shaving is one of those things that always seemed like a good idea at the time.

What you have down there are called razor bumps. If you choose to shave down there, then trim it down first and then shave with the growth of the hair and not against it. Also, shave the area after soaking in the bath or in the shower for a while, the heat will help soften the hair. It can be uncomfortable and unsightly but it will go away just keep it clean.

Boy dont be afriad of that is normal, when I did it for the first time such thing happened to me as well, but when I start trim it I feel comfortable, so trim it next time, only your arm-pit you will shave down as you like, then you will smell fresher than before, hahah.

Thats totally normal. They are just ingrown hairs, they will clear up eventually, it is nothing serious so don&#039;t worry about it.

just put some soothing cream on it like sudocrem or drapolene stuff for like nappy rash as it is a similar thing, it shoul dgo down in a couple of days or just turn into actual spots. i know it sounds discusting but of it isn&#039;t like spots that you can&#039;t pick or dnt turn into that in a couple of days then you are best going to get it checked out even if u just ask someone behind the counter at a chemist what is best. but i wouldn&#039;t put anything strong down there (cream wise) as it is a sensivite area and you don&#039;t want it to get worse but the stuff they put on babies is safe for everyone as it is fine for them

its normal but you should trim first and make sure you use a good sharp razor. Its only a razor rash and will go away in a few days. Its better to keep a short growth downstairs anyway and not totally shaved except for your balls should be totally shaved.
