My sister refuses to recycle?

My sister and her boy friend refuse to recycle. I ask them over and over again to start doing it. I even got together all of there recyclable trash and put it in a bin and all they had to do was put it outside on recycling day. Her boyfriend says he thinks its pointless. I think they are both just lazy. Does anyone know a way I can describe to them the benefits of recycling? they just dont get it.

I agree: They're lazy. Also self-centered and thoughtless.  Usually these are traits that you can't change in people. They have to want to change.

You can't PUSH your religion on other people and expect then to like it or conform to it. They may change after seeing you walk your faith FIRST.(In this case recycling)

all you do is call all your friends and do a recycling party when your sis is home.Call the friensds who con make good things out of junk.

or tell your friends to tell your sis to recycle whenever they meet her.

you cant do much with the degenerates like these, however you can suggest they lower the amount of real trash they have to carry by using the recycle bin for bottles cans and recyclables. ( when they try to use regular trash in it they will stop altogether)  your sister is... an idiot.

Make a mountain of all the recycling and leave it in your sister's room. Don't take it out, wait until she does. If she takes it out of her room, put it back! This should work! If it doesn't then I don't know what will!!!!!!!!!!!!
