My subs won't work!?

Question

I have 2 -12" exile subwoofers with a 1000 watt sony xplod amp. I just recently got them hooked back up into my new car. Initially they worked just fine. While driving down the road though, about 25 minutes later they just shut off. There is no sound whatsoever coming from my subs. I made sure that none of the connections were loose and the ground wire connection was good and to no avail I can not get them to work. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

you could of blow a fuse, that happen to me be for !

Your amp most likely has heat protected shut-off. Make sure it is well ventilated or it will continue to turn itself off when it reaches a certain temperature.
