My subwoofer?

Will my subwoofer work alright if it is on it's side? It has a big squishy rubber thing on the bottom and the other 5 sides are all closed up completely so I was wondering if it had to be down or if it will work ok on it's side.

your sub is designed to fire downward,but you must have a reason for wanting to put it on its side,try putting it against a wall to get more base if that is what you are after.on its side alone will give you a much looser bass.where against a wall will mimick the floor and allow the sub to work as it was designed to do.

You sub is "bottom firing" device - if you put it on a side, it will work - but it will not sound the way is is supposed to.
