Question:

My subwoofers are moving

i have 2 10' cerwin vega v-max's and there all hooked up and the hit hard but when the subwoofer bump they go different directions (when one hits out the other pulling in) and when ever i move around the wire on the box in the box or what not, the sound get a lot let personally id rather them go different ways and hit wrong could u explain to me what wrong or what i can do to fix that?

  1. ya sounds like they are crossed  


  2. Take the speaker wires off of the one that is being sucked in are reverse them, it sounds like they are crossed.

  3. one of the has the + and - switched.

    an easy way to check this is to test it with a 9v battery. touch the + and - of the 9v to the + and - of a speaker. when the speaker moves outwards, the + is to + and the - is to -. (you may have to rig up a piece of speaker wire to do this) this is a good way to test your + and - on any speaker....especially helpful when using factory wiring and replacingg stock speakers.
