My video..-10 pts?

Ok well a long time ago I videotaped sumthing that I want to erase now. Is there any way to do this? otherwise how do I tape over it?

I have a very old SONY video camera and the tape is a TDK Hi8 MP 120.(if that has significance)

Please help me out. 10 pts!

Just rewind the tape and start recording.  If you want to be sure, put the lens cap on and record an hour of nothing.

you can rewind all the way to the beginning of what you want to erase, then film over that up until the end of what you wanted to erase or even longer... then what you had filmed before would be replaced with whatever you just recorded.
