My wii remote wont work properly . . .?

Question

It only works properly when my guitar hero guitar attachment is connected to it, why is that ? And how can I fix it ?

try banging it hard against your leg.  Sometimes the accelerometer gets stuck and just needs to release.

Try re-syncing it with the system. If that doesn't work, unplug the sensor bar and replug that back in.If that doesn't work take out the batteries in the remote and put them back in place. If none of that works, ring up customer support

Try syncing it.  Open the battery door on the remote, you'll see a red button, then open the front door on the front of the wii system, another red button is there, press them at the same time, and let the remote sync with the wii.

you may need to get a replacement, because a lot of them break easily. my wii motion sensor is very twitchy but it works. problems occur with them, just get a new one.
