Question:

My wireless keeps disconnecting?

I am using my laptop and my wifi keeps disconnecting. It happens wherever I go, I've tried at least 3 places. I have a dell latitude with an external D-Link card. I don't think it's the places I visit because even two of the locations I visit I get 4-bar strength. Is there anything I can do to get a better signal? It usually disconnects every 2 minutes or so and is very annoying!

  1. Hey

Sounds like your drivers may be out of date.

Also if you are using the D-Link software to configure your wireless connections, try uninstalling this and using the inbuilt Windows Wireless Zero Configuration utility. This should become your default wireless configuration tool once you have uninstalled the D-Link software.

    Good luck
