My wrist hurts during tennis?

yesterday during tennis practice a girl told te team to flick your wrist during a serve and i did it a few times with my extremely heavy racket. now my wrist really hurts whenever i hit the ball, and all my forehands and backhands are all messed up because i can't concentrate on the strokes anymore. wat can i do to make the pain go away?

  1. rest... You might have pulled something.

    Stay away from strenuous activities for the next week or so. The longer the better.

    Only use wrist to put spin on the ball dont hit the ball with ur wrist...

You need to ice your wrist after stressing it with playing.  When you are going to play then use heat in the way of a sports creme then wear the thick wrist bands they are not just for sweat, they are for support also.  Keep icing until you don't have to do it anymore.  You have to be the judge of that because no one knows that you are having pain except yourself.  If you have ibuprofen or motrin this will help control the pain.  Don't flick your wrist anymore when serving.  If you want to add speed to your serve you need to lift weights not flick the wrist.
