My friend asked me if i wanted to go to myrtle with her. But i had already planned on going with my family to Michigan. My family won't mind if i went with my friend but if i do go with my friend i won't be able to play volleyball for my school. But if i go to michigan, on the way back i will be going to cedar point. What should i do?

  1. Confused,

I suggest talking this over with your parents. If you hope to get a scholarship through volleyball, sounds like a no brainer, that would save everyone thousands of dollars.

Cedar Point and Mrytle Beach will both be there for a long time.

  2. Yeah, you haven't provided a lot of info..have you been to Cedar Point & Michigan before? What about the beach? I don't understand how going on vacation would interfere with being able to play volleyball. Anyways, I live close to Myrtle Beach & it is very beautiful, lots to see & do, I'm sure you wouldn't regret it! :) But honestly, it's up to you.

  3. You haven't provided a whole lot of information but from what I can determine it sounds like you should go to Michigan with your family so that you will also be able to play Volleyball for your school.  In the long run, that seems to be the wisest course to take.  Good Luck!

  4. I grew up in Michigan, lived there for 21 years of my life. It all depends where in Michigan you go. The nicest areas of Michigan in my mind are the U.P. (Upper Peninsula above the bridge) if you love  nature that is a great spot. Western Michigan is nice also, especially northwestern part of the state from St. Joseph up to Traverse City. Hitting Cedar Point on the way back would be great also, as it is the best roller coaster theme park in the world!

Myrtle Beach, SC is very nice also, I live in Myrtle Beach now and it is very nice, but not as nice in the summer as it is in the winter and spring when there are less tourists (less crowded)

There are a plethora of things to do in Myrtle Beach

anything on the beach - the beach stretches 60 miles called the Grand Strand

Murrels Inlet Marsh walk - starts at Divine Fish House

Hard Rock park - fun for all

Wild water and wheels or Myrtle Waves - for a hot day

Palace Theatre - I recommend the Le Grande Cirque

Ripleys Aquarium - a must see

Broadway at the Beach - almost everyone that comes here has to go there, shopping, nightclubs, restaurants, and more

Market Common - great shopping and the best movie theatre

Huntington State Park and Brookgreen Gardens - off Bypass 17 South

there are tons of putt putt golf courses - it's like a must when you come here

parasailing, banana boat rides, and jet ski rentals - kinda expensive but real fun

Nascar Theme Park - ride the go carts

Medievil Times show and dinner - really fun experience, if you haven't been to one before

Family Kingdom - small amusement park, rides, games, and water park on ocean

Shopping - everywhere you look there are strip malls and stores, there are two Tanger outlets 501 and 17 Bypass north, and our biggest mall Coastal Grand

Legends in Concert - celebrity look-a-likes singing, located in Surfside

Alabama Theatre - shows, recommend THE ONE

Ripleys Believe it or Not and Ripleys Haunted house - located on Ocean Blvd 9th, 10th ave North

Alligator Adventure - located in North Myrtle Beach next to Barefoot Landing, has tons of alligators, birds, snakes, and various other animals

These are some of the most popular and probably the most fun things for the whole family to do.

Hope you have fun and enjoy your time here in Myrtle Beach, SC. For more information on things visit our website.
