NBA Trade Question...?

With the 3way trade involving Mo Williams going to Cleveland it is the 2nd time Desmond Mason goes back to the Sonics or Thunder franchise. He has put up solid #'s and has a career playoff ppg total of 15.1. Last season was the 2nd time he came back to the Bucks.

Is this a trend w/ him how come these are the only 2 teams that pick this guy up do you think he will go back to the Bucks and then back to the Sonics can this continue for the rest of his career? He is 31 and will be in Oklahoma he went to Oklahoma State and he still is a very good leaper his jumpshot has improved and he put up 9.7 subbing in for Redd. I think he can start in OKC they are gonna be terrible and I rather have a vet starting than Jeff Green. Plus, Mason is a better defender if I was OKC I would start Mason just so they can reach the 20 game mark and not completely embarass themselves in the 8-14 win range in their first year in OKC.

Also are their any players past and present that underwent the same trades as Desmond as he spent his career as a Buck/Sonic-Thunder?

  1. Ray Allen

And he played 4 my hornets once. But Yeah think he will most likely start....hes a real good player and his career kinda fell off after da slamdunk competition.

  2. actually it doesn't happen that much. Desmond is a kinda an uncommon trade back, but i don't think its a trend. Bobby Jackson comes to mind though as he was traded back to the kings in the artest deal to houston. and antoine walker was traded back to boston when he was with the hawks, antonio mcdyess went from denver to phoenix and then back to denver. hmmm... i think those are the most recent cases, but more times than not a player does not return to his former team or the team that originally drafted them. I think Desmond is a good pick up for OKC and will provided some defense and maybe move Durant to his best position at small forward.

  3. why dont u use the espn trade machine

  4. I dont really get your first question. Idk what your asking. But I doubt he'll go back to Milwakee. And if he gets traded or signs somewhere else he wont be going back to OKC. He should start ahead of Green tho... at least for the start of the season.

I dont think anyone has done something like Mason with going back and forth
