NBA trade sound good?

Lakers trade Lamar Odom to Atlanta for Josh Smith (sign and trade) and speedy claxton who lakers release to sign carl landry to a 4 year mid level exception contract. Sound good?

Good for the lakers because Josh Smith can do everything Lamar Odom can but better. The thing that Odom provides is a long wingspan. He should be considered one of the best off. rebounders in the league. It would be better for the lakers if Smith was more aggresive rebounding, but still good for the lakers. Remember, Smith is still a developing player.

Carl Landry is going to be a much better all-around player than Speedy Claxton. Landry had a solid rookie season that was almost as good as Claxton in his prime.
