I am an upcoming senior and was thinking of applying to Appalachian State University, and Western Carolina Unviersity. My unweighted gpa is 2.77 and my weighted is 3.24. I pretty much have taken all honors classes and am going to take four AP classes this year. I have had an after school job for about a year. I took the SAT and got 1300 (includes the writing section). I plan on taking it over in October. Do you think i have a chance of getting accepted into one of those colleges. Also i plan on majoring in computer science and you can also recommend other colleges that i can look into.

  1. Yes, you have a chance of getting into those.

For other colleges to look at, I'd recommend Kings College, Elon, definitely High Point, and Winston-Salem.

  2. Hey!

I go to NC State. And you should try and apply here. I have a couple of friends that had GPA's like yours and they are in here. The computer science engineering program here is really good, but really competitive. You will def. get into western carolina and asu. Probably ECU too if you wanted!

  3. Yes, I believe you can get those collages. Try NC State also.
