NHL Eastern Division Teams

I'm a Red Wings fan in Maine, so they are the team I cheer for out in the West. But I need a team in the East to cheer for. This last season I picked Devils. So who should it be this year?

  3. you cant have someone tell you who to root for... you have to have a favorite in the East for a reason, maybe there s a team with a few players that you like.. but if you like underdogs, go for the Isles!

Well that depends.  Do you want to root for a team with the best chance to win just so you can be happy later, or do you want to root for a team for a reason?  NYR, NJD, MTL, and PIT probably have the best chance of making it to the finals.  PHI is a possibility.  I would just stick with NJD.  Be consistent, plus they have a lot of Americans.  They will be better than last season, so just stick with them.
