NHL TV ratings in U.S??

Question

Does anyone have the info or link to the NHL ratings in the U.S..

I have a feeling that it rates lower than Dog Shows, Spelling Bees, Darts, Volleyball, High School football, Cow Tipping, etc..

Don't know but I'm gonna say right now they are low and too low.  I think it is mainly because people don't enjoy the experience.  Going to a hockey game in the NHL is very much different then watching it on a d**n box haha.

No they are low as the NHL is a regional niche sport that is at its best when traditional market teams do well. I am going to say games on VS do a 1.0 or less and NBC 1.3-1.5 during the regular season.

WINTER CLASSIC on NBC Jan 1 did well it drew a 2.6 overnight and a 5 share. That's better then some of the MLB game of the week or Tennis majors.

Take for example this years Stanley Cup between the Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins. 2 markets where they love the sport goes to show you it helps to live in  a place that has winter and not a desert of Florida. The ratings where the highest since guess when Detroit was last in 2002. NBC Averaged a 3.2 rating and a 6 share which is still lower then all the other championships.

Lastly the other story that was of interest was more people in Detroit watched the Red Wings over the Detroit Pistons.
