Why does it have to be a variation on your name?  What about a trait or characteric?  The Brain, Cool Cat, SuperVixen, the Fox, the Cat - - - -  many a [erson has been called 'Red' for their hair color, or 'Stretch'  for their heigth, or Slim or - - - - - -

Risa is a great name. When I'm thinking of nicknames or pen names, I like to just choose a normal person name that I like, for example, Dave.
