NL MVP? Any front-runners?

Who do you think will win the NL MVP?

4.Brandon Webb (Cy Young winner most likely)

I think Albert Pujols should win it.

If they give it to the best player, it will be Pujols. If the Mets win the east, and the player I'm about to name finishes strong, he will have a shot at being a huge surprise pick. It isn't Wright or Reyes, it will be Delgado. When he started turning it on is when the Mets started winning. If he finishes with around 35 HR and 110 RBI, the voters may well look at him being the big reason the Mets win (As I said, assuming they do). Yes, he's only hitting .260, but if the voters actually look at who was most valuable for a playoff team, he could actually get it.

Albert Pujols is probably in the lead.  He's having the best season, but if he doesn't win the MVP it's because the Cardinals aren't currently in the playoffs.
