NYC Job Help? Serious answers only.?

Im 20 and the only exp I have is for after school and camp. Ive done that for 5 years now. I applied to so many places online and got no call backs. I had to quit my old job cause of my school schedule. I really need help. I applied to Duane Reade, Body Shop, Bath and Body works and I believe more. The thing is on some of the applications I put to start Sept 2 cause Im going on a trip Friday. Do you know any place hiring also I want to stay away from clothing stores and fast food. I can't do clothing stores cause I did for 3 months with Forever 21 and was in pain. Any ideas?
