nadal's tactic is just return every single shot without attacking until opponent make unforced error. so, resolution of breaking nadal is return every singshots that nadal return until nadal makes mistake. If nadal continuously play like that. His body will wear down. Did you see skin of his foot is cracked??? just because He had tough game for the first time on the clay??? I wish everybody play like ferrero against nadal that He need to change his tactic. Nadal today play just like other matches on clay. It is ferrero who read nadal's simple tactic and play well. Do you think other player will play like ferrero against nadal for making roger federer true king of tennis?

  1. u dumb sh*t, nadal's tactic is to hit top spin to the person's weakest side on clay.

  2. Ferrero played such magnificent game. Very smart playing he made. Very nice gentleman too, not like joker. Nadal is not so easy to make tired. If he can hit a forehand with his spin it is impossible to make it back to him. If Federer play more agressive against Nadal, I believe he would win for much more times.

  3. Nadal is not #2 in the world losing in his opening match in rome. he lost all his points he needed to defended since he won roma last year. I give credit he's good, but not the greatest. Go Federer. Win the title easy now that Nalby, and Ferrer lost. Even though they didn't lose + nadal, i am pretty sure federer can beat them. he is the true #1.

  4. Nadal's game is a lot more than just a standard retriever.  Especially in recent times, Nadal has beefed up his serve (though it still stands to be improved) and improved his play on other surfaces.  You don't get to the final of Wimbledon by just getting the ball in play.

However, the jury is out on his style of play.  Pull him wide and attack his second serve.  Still, you have to consistently do this for two or more sets.  Not an easy thing to do.  Plus, you make the excellent point of Nadal's body wearing down.

Federer hit some rough spots, but he'll be the king of tennis for a while longer.

  5. Things would have been different if Nadal wasn't tired. Seriously though. And its just too bad Rafa couldn't take his chances in the first set.
