Name Advice!! PLZ HELP!!?

Question

Hi there, I am going into 9th grade next week, and my sister Emilee just brought up a really good point... my name.

Since PreK, I have gone my Madelyn-Payton. Which is my first name. I have never let anyone call me Madelyn, or Mady, or Payton, or anything other then Madelyn-Payton.

Emilee thinks that for high school, I should go by Mady, cause its a nicer, cuter name. I'm not sure though, I kinda like my full name, but I mean HS is tough enough, I dont wanna have to worry about what people think of my name, and Madelyn Payton might be considered weird, and if it is, i dont want it!!

So Honest Opinions here.

For the Next 4 years, should i go by:

a)Mady

b)Madelyn

c)Madelyn-Payton

I just want to know which is the nicest name, and will cause the least amount of gossip on my behalf. Serious answers only.

Its going to be hard for other people to change your name to Mady or Madelyn since they already know you by Madelyn-Payton...but if you are going to a whole different school, it would actually be fun to change...it all depends on your personality...so what if Madelyn Payton sounds a little weird...it's ok to just be you...I personally don't really like mady since it sounds like Mad...or something but I think Madelyn is really pretty...my advice is just to go with what best suits you...

but why should you care what everyone thinks about your name go by what you want to go by. if you want to go with Madelyn-Peyton then go ahead go by it.

id go by payton. its a cute name.. Mady is kinda childish... its like a baby name.. Payton is cute.  but you go by what you want to be called it is your name.
