  1. I prefer Annabelle (it looks prettiest) or Annabel (it's the original medieval Scottish form).

I like either!  Isabel seems to be the most original form, but most people will probably spell it Isabelle now, so that could be easiest on your daughter.  There's also the lovely Scottish Isobel, which is probably my favorite (but least likely to be spelled correctly).  Isabelle would probably be your safest best.

Definitely Chloe!  I hate it when C names are respelled with K's.

Esme seems simpler, so I'd probably pick that one.  Apparently Esme can be both masculine or feminine, while Esmee is just feminine.  (Kind of like how a fiance is male but a fiancee is female.)  If you want to be grammatically feminine, I suppose you can add the extra E, but if it doesn't bother you, just go with Esme.

Kenzie, I suppose.  I don't like either name much, but I'm guessing it's meant to be a short form of Mackenzie, so it makes sense to choose the one with the closest spelling.

Annalee -- but I don't like it much.  Would you consider Anneliese or Annalise instead?  I like the original German spelling (Anneliese), but Annalise is easier for an American child methinks.

Bridget, if you're planning to pronounce it like BRIJ-it.  If you want to pronounce it the French way as bree-ZHEET, then spell it Brigitte.

My favorites from your list, roughly in order, are Esme, Anneliese, Annabel, and Bridget.  I like Isabelle and Chloe, but they've gotten way too popular.  The only name from your list I dislike is Kenzie.

  2. Annabelle

  4. Annabelle

    Isabelle

    Khloe

    Esme

    Kinsey

    Annalee

    Bridgette

  5. the variations on Annabelle depend, in part on your heritage.  Annabelle is a traditional English spelling.  Anabel is a traditional Spanish spelling.  All others are non-traditional variants.  The same is true for Isabelle.

    Chloe is the correct spelling.

Kinsey and Kenzie are pronounced differently.

Annalee and Anna Lee depends on you and what you are looking for.

Bridget is the traditional English spelling.  Bridgette is french and pronounced slightly differently.

  9. These are really unique!! I like a lot of them!

I think that if you say Anabelle it will look like aw-na not like you want it to be. I think that Annabelle is cuter and more feminine(not that the name isn't feminine). It adds a girly touch. I really like this name. It is really cute and if she hates is Anna or Belle are always options.

I would go with Isabelle for this one because of the feminine thing too. It is much more interesting with this spelling. Less plain. This name is pretty but common.

I think that for Chloe you should go with the classic spelling. The K is also much harsher. I thinkt that this is a really pretty name. It is uncommon and unique.

I think the same for Esme as I do for Chloe. The double e is so trendy. I would go Esme. This isn't my favorite name, but I don't hate it. I think it is pretty, but I like others on the list.

For this one I think that if you wanted pronunced right go with Kinsey(otherwise it will be said like Ken-z) If that is how you want it then go with the other spelling. I think that this name is cute but not the best for an adult.

I think that Annalee is the way to go on this one. I like the way it is said as one word instead of two. I also really like this name. It is pretty and uncommon and very versitile. Make sure you go with a simple middle name like Grace or Rose.

I like Bridgette. It is more intresting and feminine. It is a little spin of the classic spelling but it doesn't go too far. I really love this name. It is beautiful yet doesn't come with any sterotypes.

My favorites are Annalee and Bridgette

    Hope I helped!!

  10. Most of these are easy:

    Annabel

Isabel - In both cases, why add letters that don't change the pronunciation?

Chloe - Ks are not klassy.

Esme - It's the more familiar choices, thanks to JD Salinger's short story.

Kinsey - Reminds me of Sue Grafton's Kinsey Millhone.

Bridget - Same thinking as Annabel/Isabel

The one that I'm not sure about is Annalee/Anna Lee.  I'd actually suggest Annalie - like Rosalie.  Between your alternatives, I think I'd have to opt for Anna Lee, but it would probably be a headache - she'd likely find her name recorded as Anna in most cases.

  11. Annabelle

    Isabel

    Chloe

    Esme

    Kenzie

    Annalee

    Bridget

My favorite is either Isabel or Bridget

  12. - Annabel (like in E.A. Poe's poem "Annabel Lee")

    - Isobel, actually

    - Chloé

    - Esmé

    - neither to be honest

    - Annalee might be used for teasing (anally), so Anna Lee/Leigh, call her Anna

    - Bridget

Faves are Annabel, Isobel and Esmé.

  13. Annabelle

    Isabelle

    Chloe

    Esme

    Kenzie

    Annalee

    Bridget

My favs are Isabelle and Annabelle.

  14. Annabelle

    Isabelle

    Chole

    Esmee

    Kinzie

    Anna Lee

    Bridgette

  15. For Annabelle, Isabel, and Bridget the variation is based on the country of origin (eg. English vs. French spellings), Chloe with a K is just plain wrong, as is Esme with the extra e.  Kinsey is traditionally a boy's name and so people have tweeked it when making apply to a girl, I think either is fine.  As for the Anna Lee name, it depends on whether you want to give another middle name.

  16. Annabelle

    Isabelle

    Khloe (love it)

    Kenzie (love it)

    Annalee

    Bridgette (love it)

oh oh pretty names but as u see i like the unique ways of spelling more!...my daughters name is gonna be Jordyn Faythe

    Good luck finding one!

  17. I like the first of the alternatives for each name.  I prefer simpler spellings.  But I'm not keen on Kinsey - makes me think of Alfred Kinsey, the author of the book 'Sexual Behavior in the Human Male'.

And I don't want to cause offense, but I really strongly dislike Khloe.

  18. Annabel

    Isabelle

    Chloe

    Esme

    Kenzie

    Anna Lee

    Bridgette

My favorite is Annabel, it's gorgeous! So feminine and spunky and sweet.  Plus you get tons of nicknames out of it.  I would not recommend Anna Lee or Annalee-- I know a girl with the name, who gets a ton of "anally" jokes.  Have you considered Anneliese?

  19. All are pretty names! I love Kinsey, but my husband wasn't a fan :-/. I'm not a fan on changing the spelling of the name too much, one because not only will people have problems spelling it in the future...ie, teachers, friends who are used to a more common spelling, the child may as well.  So in my opinion......I like:

    Anabelle

    Isabelle

    Chloe

Esme vs. Esmee..it depends on how you would like it pronounced....ES MAY or ES MEE, which some unfamiliar with the name may confuse.

    Kinsey

Annalee vs. Anna Lee --- I like both!

    Bridget

My favorite is definitely Kinsey...I also like Kinsley!!

    Good luck!!

Chloe- The more classic way to spell it

Esme- I don't like the two Es thing

    Kinsey- Don't like Zs

Bridgette- more original but just as beautiful

  29. It depends on your and your partner's heritage, how you spell most of those names.

Annabelle, Isabelle look more French, and so does Bridgette, although in French there is no d.

Khloe is horrible looking. Kinsey reminds me of the s*x expert.

Esme looks fine with either one or two.

  30. Annabel

    Isabelle

    Chloe

    Esme

    Kenzey

    Anna Lee

    Bridget

  31. Anabelle

    Isabelle

    Chloe

depends how you want Esme pronounced

Kinsley and Kenzie are two different names, but the spelling is fine with both

    Anna Lee

    Bridgette
