  1. meercat

  2. I'm not sure, but it looks very much like a Civet.  Civets are small, carnivorous mammals (vaguely feline in appearance) which secret a waxy, musky-scented substance from perianal glands.  For this reason, they are highly prized by the perfume industry as a source of musk, and also in parts of South East Asia (Indonesia, the Philippines and the like) for the production of the pricey 'Kopi Luak': coffee that has been digested and expelled by the Asian Palm Civet.

  3. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw its so cute!

    maybe a racoon?

  4. Looks like a lesser Indian civet (Viverricula indica) to me.

  5. its face reminds me of a civet,

(do a google images search for more civets).

the bold stripes on the back make me think it might be something else, though.  (most civets you see in pictures on the internet have spots in lines on their back, but nothing approaching actual stripes.)  the banded linsang has stripes:

(not a lot of good photos of these on the internet)

but has less of the overall look of your mystery creature.

civets and linsangs are both in the family viverridae.  (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viverridae for a whole list of animals that all look vaguely like the one in your picture.)

i'll hazard a guess that whatever your creature may be, it's in this family.
