  1. There is an amino acid called 5-HTP that works well.  St. John's Wort would be another suggestion, but don't use them together.  Sublingual Vitamin B12 is a good mood booster, but not really an anti-depressant.

  2. St John's Wort is very effective.  Check it out on Google for details.

  3. MEDITATION!!!! It works like a charm! chamomile tea too!

  4. Lots of puppies

  5. Clean up your diet. Go organic. Start exercising. After you get your diet cleaned up do an internal cleanse with a focus on cleansing the kidneys. You'll feel great once you get rid of all the toxins in your body! I cleanse all the time...I feel great, I have lots of energy, and I'm hardly ever sick. Email me if you need some pointers...I've got loads of them!

  6. I agree with those folks who recommend a healthy diet, far fewer processed foods and sugars.  I also agree that exercise can help a lot, especially if it includes sunshine and fresh air.

I have also had good luck taking B12 complex vitamins and St. John's Wort.

    Good luck!

  7. Bee Pollen if you aren't allewrgic to bee products. St John's Wort, read this WARNING: never take with MAO inhibitor drugs and it makes you extra sensitive to sunlight and burns. So if you are on any medication make sure you look up the drugs you are on. Also always read for yourself and make up your own mind.

Let me tell you something. About 15 years ago my ex and I broke up and she was the love of my life. I used to have to pull over on the highway to cry daily. As soon as I took St John's wort I was okay immediately. It really was weird how quickly it worked. I still cared about her,but emotionally I was cool about it within an hour.

B-Complex protects the nerves. Vitamin c and esther c with bioflavanoids{Vitamin P} is the best and  is known as the stress vitamin.

Royal jelly mixed with honey is a jar{Never get any other kind} has the only known natural source of acetyl-choline. Acetyl-choline is the #1 neuro transmitter in the brain.

    Write me with any questions.

  8. taking a good b vitamin helped me.  also changing your diet cutting out process food and sugar eat protein and vegs and fruits.  Walking everyday in the sunshines helps.  I also recommend looking for the good in your life look at whats around u and being thankful.Develop a attitude of gratitude.

  9. Exercise that you enjoy, so that it is not hard work.  Like someone else said, puppies are good, they love you unconditionally and that is a major emotional boost.

I certainly came out of my depression when I got myself a dog, who loved and adored ME first second and third, sure that was not the only thing, but it was THE  major contributor.  BUT remember a dog is for life, not just till you get better and can go back to your old life, pre dog days.

  10. Yoga is great but I really believe if you don't know how to relax you don't get the full benefit. So here's how to relax:

1.Breathe in deeply using your diaphragm (Making you tummy rise) Do this about 5 times a day breathe in for 3 seconds and out for 4 seconds. Soon you will be able to hold it longer like 4 seconds and 8 seconds out. Do this mainly whenever you are stressed.

    2. Relax every muscle in your body. You'll notice muscles are contracted even when your not contracting them. You can order a relaxing CD on line. Or search on you tube or something. It will walk you through it. They pin point certain muscles at a time to relax. Soon it will become second nature.

See our body was naturally designed to breathe through our diaphragm as babies we did so. Due to the about of stress we have we altered it to breath shallow. Check it, breath deeply. Is your breathing making your shoulders rise? If so you are breathing incorrectly.

Everything you feel stressed or just do this a couple times a day it will retrain your your body to breathe correctly. Its called fight or flight research it if your not sure of what it means. We are always in a panic state even if we don't realize it. That is the fight state. We need to learn to relax.

It changed my life. I was in a lot of pain from my muscles being contracted all the time. Now I am feeling so much better. Try it, it wont hurt.

  11. SAM-E Only if you are sure you are not bipolar. St. Johns Wort only if not bi-polar.

Do not mess with your meds if you are bipolar it can be h**l
