Naughty picture?

I up loaded a quite a naughty picture as a background picture for my 360 profile page only to find it had been dealted when i went back some days later that i can understand now i cant upload any new pictures as a avatar though i can still upload background pictures. My avatar shows when i save the images but as it is saved to page it is not there Can some one please tell me could i have been stopped uploading any more avatar pictures or is it just my page that is playing up

You may have been able to post 4 images (including your avatar) in your personal photos module, but now you can't. Nothing shows up. Your images are under spec - below 5MB and in JPEG format. If you are a Windows user, you've used Microsoft Paint to re-save those images in JPEG format (over again). It's still not working.

I recommend that you leave the module completely alone because it can cause other serious problems on your page like it making your Top Page very long - which may or may not be fixable. There is really nothing that can be done about this issue and if you try to mess with it, you are taking the risk of having worse things happen. Perhaps you'll get lucky and the glitch will resolve itself, but it's unlikely as that module has been buggy for a long time.

Also, please note the 360 community guidelines (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/gui... ) regarding mature content. The personal profile area is a public area, which can't be changed from that status. Adult images must be placed ONLY in the blog under mature content controls. If you have been reported for adult images in that module (or other areas), then Yahoo could have removed those images. This inadvertently could have resulted in those spots being lost as well.

The Y!360 team is no longer fixing glitches, so there is no point in contacting them. They are preparing to move the service to a new platform in the 2nd half of 2008, which you can read about here: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360

First of all, of course you can't use a "naughty picture" here as your avatar or as a background on 360.  I don't know anything about background pictures, but I do know that you can only have 4 images that we use for avatars, so you have to be sure to delete one if you already have 4.  I'm not quite clear if you're saying a new avatar image won't show up here on Answers, or you can't put it on your 360 page.  If you mean here, well it can sometimes take up to 4 days for a new or change 360 image to show up as your avatar.  I've had them appear right away, and take 3 days.  So give it a few days.  If the problem is you can't upload images to your 360 page, I'm not sure what the problem might be, unless you're trying to add another not-so-appropriate image.

There are many problems that will not be fixed by Yahoo on the 360, and they are getting worse each passing day.

I urge you to go to the product blog and read the information for the last three postings by yahoo about all of the changes that are coming to us soon.
