Need Help With An Amp?

ok I have two Rocksford Fosgate 12 inch subs series 1 and 2 now i need an amp and i dont know what to get my price limit is 200 dollars...............an ideas please tell me

Brent....I would agree with Bill.  Be sure to get a "good" name brand amp for this application.  You might want to add another $50 or so to the budget and I would say hit the local audio shops and good 'ole ebay.  You never know, you might pick up a nice Alpine 1000.1 mono amp or something for $250....but stay in the mainstream on the brands, you'll avoid headaches later.  Better to spend a little more now rather than buy another later!

I would strongly suggest picking one sub or the other to use, or selling both and buying a pair of matched subs.  Mixing subs can lead to sonic troubles.

kenwood also makes good budget amps

stay away from lanzar,pyle,and pyramid youll be kicking your self in the balls if you dont

by series 1 which subs are you talking about? T1 or Punch Stage 1? If its stage 1 then the sub is only 150w rms @ 4ohms is usually the spec.  So your gonna need a 300w amp @ 2ohms. in the $200 range there are plenty.  check www.sonicelectronix.com
