Need SQL help!?

OK so I'm not really sure what happened but i lost admin on my forums for whatever reason and i was wondering if it was possible to import an admin account trough my mysql DB and if i can how i go about doing that...if it cannot be answered here or you wish to IM me to try and help me out you can IM me at [e-mail]. ty in advanced for the help.

If you haven't lost the passsword to mysql DB you are still have the upper hand. You can always reset the admin password directly through the database.

You didn't mention the forum name, so I suggest you visit the forum software's home page a do a little bit of research about resetting the administrator's password or recreating/promoting a user to an admin; since each forum software has its own method. Hopefully you'll find SQL queries that you can run on your database.

I see that its proprietary stuff. See if they provide a support forum. If you can still see the admin's account in the database you can edit its password. If an encrypted password is stored then create another user (or register) then copy its encrypted password over the admin's encrypted password (note the original values).
