I want to get a tattoo, something that represents that I went through a hard time and that I got through it and I'm moving on. What kind of symbol could show that? I was thinking a Lotus flower or something

i went through some rough tough **** but im moving on!!  i got a tat of a quote on my wrist. it is  simply says "what goes around, comes around"

You could always get a character of some sort that represents strength and place it wherever you feel like putting it.  That's what I'd do...  Like, "strength" in Japanese or something like that.  Good luck!
