Need help about my career choice!

I am at college and once I leave I want to go into the events industry. I live in Leeds but don't know where to start looking.....Should I move? Do I need to go to university? Or can I go straight in>

You don’t ever need to move, but other areas do have more opportunities for the events industry than where you live now.  I highly recommend an internship to get your feet wet, which will usually land you a job with the industry by the contacts you meet (ie networking).  Getting a job in that field straight out of college, with no experience, will be hard. My advice is to think internship, and relocation.
