Need help picking a name.....?

Question

I've adopted a beautiful little girl and she'll be here in three weeks and I have yet to decide on a name. Tell me what you think of these names. I'd love some feedback.

1st choice:

Riley Denise Jones

2nd choice:

Charlotte Johnson Jones

3rd choice:

Hayley Layne Jones

4th choice:

Riley Johnson Jones

5th choice:

Charlotte Laila Jones

I don't understand Johnson for a middle name.

Riley, Charlotte, Hayley -- all VERY common these days, though pretty and fine.  

What about Charlotte Rose or Charlotte Blue, or Charlotte Makenzie...

Hayley Lane is a lot of L's...

Hayley Grace, Hayley Christine...

Riley Denise is fine...

Riley is too masculine too me. What about Kylie Denise?

Charlotte is pretty and girly but bland. Please don't name your daughter Johnson... it's a boys name and many refer to what's below the belt as Johnson.

Hayley Layne is nice but I prefer Haley Jane.

Hayley Layne Jones..would be beautiful used together.  "hayley layne" for first name or just use together like my sister- mary jane.

Of the first names, Charlotte is far and away the nicest one.  It's classic, timeless, and well-suited for a girl or woman of any age.  Hayley and Riley are much trendier, and they will sound dated in the years to come.

I'm not too crazy about Johnson or Laila as middle name choices, though.

Definitely use Johnson.  Especially since she is adopted, it will have a lot of meaning to her when she gets older.  I like Riley for the first name, but whatever you do, be sure you do use Johnson for the middle name!

I think you should go with Hayley Layne Jones. It's so cute. I like that one the best. It's really pretty and girly sounding. Both names flow well together as well.

First off... congratulations!!!  Now, in my opinion I wouldn't use the name Riley for a girl, it seems very masculine to me.  However I love Charlotte and Hayley.  My favorites in order would be:

Hayley (english - from the hay clearing) Layne (english - dweller by the road) Jones

Charlotte (english - free) Johnson (I'm assuming this has family meaning) Jones

Charlotte Laila (arabic - night, black) Jones

Riley (irish - descendant of roghallach) Johnson Jones

Riley Denise (french - devotee of dionysis) Jones

Of your choices I like #1 best, #5 second, #2 third, #4 fourth. I don't like choice #3 at all -- but the rest would all make lovely names for your little bundle of joy. :)
