Hi, I have been learning 6 ball juggling now for 5 days. I am still working on 3 in each hand and I can usually get about 10 throws/catches. Is this good, I know that it is going to take lots and lots of practice but could someone tell me how long will it take to learn and can anyone give me any tips or advice.

  1. If you are working on 6 you should be answering rather than asking questions. What pattern are you using with 6, synchronous fountain, asynchronous fountain or wimpy (slightly async crossing throws) ?  You should try all 3, many find the wimpy easiest in the beginning. No one can tell you how it will take to master 6, it depends on how much you practice and how quickly you learn. What's the hurry anyway enjoy the trip! You can see animations of all of these 6 ball patterns and others here:

  2. i can't juggle 6 yet but the proper way to practise is pyramid style , so start off with like 10 sets of say 6 catches then 8 sets of 8 and 5 sets of 10 catches and then you can take a break and treat yourself to a till you drop set. This is the proper way to learn even if its boring . Don't just throw the balls and keep triying to beat your reccord it will be alot harder and longer. Hope this helps !
