Now that we have got the 4 letter words correct, lets begin.

Your gearing is a major problem, if it is that.

Here is the full SP on your gearing, you could always take it apart and have a look yourself. It might be a simple fix.

    SP here :

You will need to click the link and then zoom in on the full SP details. If you can save them and print them out it will make your life alot easier in the workshop.

  2. If it has to do with gears then it may b costly unless a friend or aquantice that u know can fix it for u.

  3. not a cheap problem if it's the gears, but it is easy to find out if it's the gears, it's hard to strip the gears in the first place, but not impossable, most things that go wrong with the gearing, is selector forks, some times they break or bend, does the engine peak out and not go anywhere when you give it heaps of juice, if so, it's the clutch plates, when you put it in gear, can you feel it slip in, there should be a little jolt when it goes into gear, if it's the timing, it will run like c**p, be hard to start or not start at all, hard to say what the problem can be, what were you doing, and what noises did it make and where was the noise, best way to check the gears, pull out the dip stick, or drop your oil, and have a look to see if there is any metal flakes in it, if not look elsewhere, is the engine still turning over or not? if it's a 4 stroke, and you dropped a timing chain, then the valves will be bent and you are up for a rebuild, 2 strokes dont have the same problems, they just seize up, take out the plugs, and test the compression while turning over the engine by hand, assuming it still turns over, there should be heaps of compression, if not, it's serious, so the price can range from $100 to $1000, depends on the problem, sorry to put a downer on your day

  4. yea sell it and buy a race bike
