  1. go out and get the new strike king coffee tubes and run them on a texas rig

just remember if fishing was easy everyone would do it

  2. Try 4 inch senkos(dark grey with sparkle flakes)

4 inch white tubes(bass pro shops tournament edition)

    Mizmo frogs(smaller the better)

4 inch Strike king coffee tubes

  3. To name one particular plastic lure would be unfair to you, as there is no info provided about where you are planning to fish ( what state ) or what you are planning to fish for, so we can only assume the obvious, it's hot, really hot, and so is most of the water in America, as we are in the dog days of summer and most of our waters are jacuzzi like at this time of the year, which only leaves us one option, go deep, really deep.  Wherever you are planning to fish, I would somehow obtain a depth chart of the lake, and head to the deepest part of it and sink some shiners or nightcrawlers for your best bet.  But if your stuck on the soft plastics, ( which tend to work a lot better when the fish are actively feeding, spring and fall ), I would try to drag around some 4-6 inch sluggos, or the like, along the bottom of the deeper points and over some of the hills if there are any.  Try to find out what your target fish is currently feeding on for bait in this area, and then try to match it up, plastically, ( is that a word ) the best you can.  You will always have the best production with live bait, but some of the plastics these days are really comparable.

Here's a bunch of them that could be bounced off  the bottom..............................

PS.Both the Triple ripple grub and all of the swirly tail grubs  work crazy good at heavy depths, I have found.

  4. Your question is too vague. Please add more info about the lake and where it is located so we can help you better.

  5. Try 6"senko with no.4 wide worm hook can catch any size of bass.

Get two tone watermelon with the combination of other color.

Go BassPro to find the Gerry Yamamoto.

  6. Ten inch worm on a texas rig, or  wacky worm, hooked through the middle, maybe set up on a carolina rig!

  7. if you are in a boat use purple and blues in deep water and brownish earthtones in shallow. The deeper the water the bigger the baits. if you are from shore try casting to a shelf or cliff using a lizard with a little spec (glitter) in it I like red lizards. I hit the cliff sending a bevy of dirt and sand into the water annoucing to the lineside feeding bass a meal might be coming and when the lizard hits the surface it is quite often inhaled. I like also to fish very small swim baits close to shore in spring and chartreuse and lime green curly tail grubs. Through the summer and into the fall I use larger and larger going from 2" to 6" or even 7" by the end of fall.
