I tried to install a microsoft lifecam vx-3000 on my laptop running vista and I keep getting -- WMVCore.DLL missing --- what's up??

  1. You ppear to be missing the Windows Media Libraries.

    You may not have them installed on your version of windows, or they may have been deleted.

    There are on-line places where you can download them (search in google for:

    WMVCore.DLL missing

    Bit the safest thing to do is to search through the MS website for a patch / download.

    Search in google for this:

    site:microsoft.com WMVCore.DLL download

    Pretty much your first hit will be to a download point form Microsoft.
