can anyone tell me if about french horns made by carl fischer

I don't know if C.fisher ever built a horn but they imported them like crazy.   Back in the 30s and 40s they brought in Schmidts from Germany but I think these were labeled with both names.  The most common Fishers are imported from Italy.  These came in from the 50s to the early 70s I think.  You can tell these by the valves, they don't have strings working the valves but have "Klanky" mechanical valves instead.  Most likely you have one of these.
