See I'm planning on having a bonfire at the beach for my birthday in October. But I'm not sure how to go about all of the preparation.
I was thinking about doing a luau theme, but now I'm not sure if that'll fit because the party will be starting later around six or seven. And I'm positive the weather won't be beach material earlier that day. I planned on giving everyone leis and grass skirts when they arrived, having tropical fruit and decoration, soft hawaiian music in the background, things like that. I don't know how that'll work since we'll be roasting smores, cooking hot dogs, and probably some other very un-hawaiian things.
Should I just go for the luau theme?
Or should I think of something else?
Suggestions and comments please.
