  1. OK THIS IS AN EASY FIX...1ST BE FLATT WHEN YOU HIT THE BALL DON'T LET YOUR ARMS GO WILD EITHER NO FURTHER THAN 90 DEGREE ANGLE THAT SHOULD HELP YOU KEEP THE BALL UNDER CONTROL ... GET A GOOD PLAYER AS A PARTNER AND PASS TO EACH OTHER NOT TO FAR AWAY IF POSSIBLE ON THE 10 FOOT LINE OF THE NET ONE ON ONE SIDE AND THE OTHER ON THE OTHER SIDE PASS BACK AND FOURTH TRY TO GET THE BALL TO YOUR PARTNER WITH OUT HE/SHE MOVING... THAT'S A GREAT WORM UP AS A DRILL I HAVE A LOT BUT THERE HARD TO EXPLAIN SO IF YOU ADD ME TO YOUR CONTACTS I'LL GET THEM TO YOU...GOOD LUCK...

  2. It really depends on your resource with what you can do. Do you have a partner in warming up? Are you warming up with an entire team? Do you have gym space, and a net? I'll wildly assume that you have a net, a gym, and a friend. Start with peppering (bump, set, spike) with you partner, then move to progressive peppering. Work up to five and back down, in this pattern: BUMP, set, SPIKE, b, SET, sp, B, sp, B, set, SP, b, SP, b, SP, b, set, SP, b, SP, b, SP, b, SP, b....and so on. If you don't have a partner, this can be done against a wall, though it is much trickier, and when you spike the ball, you should first try to roll-shot it instead of snapping through.
