Neighbor/making new friend help? ?

I am a 15 yr old tomboy, but a bit shy. my new neighbor just moved in a month ago, but i havent met him all summer. he is 15 as well but supposedly a sophomore, while i am a junior. i would like to go introduce myself, because i have a feeling we share interests, and a friend so close would be awesome! however, i only have 3 days til school starts. what should i do? just go over?

Yes.  Just go over, ring the bell, say "I'm your neighbor and wanted to introduce myself.  Want to do something?".  That something can be anything from going to the mall, taking a walk, throwing a baseball...whatever.

I'm sure he'll appreciate meeting someone.  He's probably a bit shy too.
