Can someone help me understand neo-spacian dark panthers effect better? thanks.

well lets say your opponent has busterblader on the field. you use panther's effect on him panther is now Busterblader with buster blader's effect for one turn

Panther's effect: Once per turn, you can select 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field. While this card is face-up on your side of the field, until the end of this turn this card's name is treated as the selected monster's name, and it gets the selected monster's effect(s).

Buster Blader's Effect:The Atk of this card increases by 500 points for every dragon-type monster on your opponents side of the field and graveyard.

i'm ganna put it the same way they did in the anime;

dark panther can turn him self into a monster the oponent has and the only thing that dosin't change is that he still has 1000 attack and 500 deffens other then the points he can turn him self into a monster the oponent controls so the oponent can have a hero monster in play and skycraper then dark panther can turn into that hero monster so he can be combined with skyscraper or your oponent could have winged dragon of ra in play then dark panther can turn him self into ra so he can use ALL of ra's efekts from phinex-mode to pay all but 1 LP and in the anime when judai plays dark panther it shows him melt into a black puddle the comes back up but dark panther looks like a monster on the oponent's side of the field!
