I am in the Netherlands right now on vacation and i was wondering if i could legally drive a car here because i live in America and im 16 years old and i already have my driver's license. But here you have to be 18 to drive.

So does that mean that i cant drive here?

  1. Correct, you cannot drive here as the legal minimum age to drive is 18, and so you it is not legal for anyone (local ot visitors) to drive below this age & nor would you be covered by any insurance

I didn't know that in the US you can drive at 16, so I learnt something new as well!
