Network help please?

if other people connect to my network name and share my wireless connection can they get my details

They can get your IP address for sure,

what they can get beyond that depends on your network settings and your personal firewall settings

so the answer is basically : it depends

personally Id lock down my wireless network so only users on your network name can access it....otherwise they use your bandwidth, and can make you responsible for any crimes they commit, lock that network down!

Well unfortunately yes they can. In fact there are programs that will allow any computer attached to the network to capture every packet sent and received on the network.

So SECURE your network use encryption and WPA if possible. It just isn't safe without it.
